Lori Pedrick is an award-winning Art Director, Photographer, and Designer with over 25 years of experience in publishing. She has overseen the visuals of magazines with a wide variety of topics including home, food/entertaining, contemporary art + design, travel, wedding, and both long- and short-form narrative. She is the current art director for Art New England magazine as well as the Edible Manhattan Group. She is the former art director for Yankee magazine as well as Philadelphia and Boston magazine’s ancillary publication division.

In 2017, Lori received her MFA from the New Hampshire Institute of Art with a focus in photography. Her thesis project titled Growing Up Girl® is a series of female-based portraits accompanied by personal essays written by her subjects on their lived experiences having grown up in a gendered world. Born from her passion to explore the standards of beauty within our culture, this project has expanded into discussions on self-awareness/self-love, confidence, acceptance of others, acceptance of self, overcoming trauma and other adversities, and the importance of connection.
